Setup wizard

What the wizard does#

The wizard opens once, right after you activate the plugin for the first time. It walks through a few short steps:

  1. Features: turn Custom Fields, Forms and SEO on or off. All three are on by default; switch off anything another plugin already handles.
  2. Modules: a handful of recommended add-ons (Classic editor, Duplicate posts and SVG support, among others) are highlighted, with the rest available behind a "Show more" toggle.
  3. Finish: shortcuts into your first field group, post type, form or SEO settings, depending on what you kept enabled.

Nothing here is permanent. Every choice can be changed later.

Detected plugins#

If the wizard notices an active plugin that overlaps with an Ultivo Toolkit feature (Advanced Custom Fields, Yoast SEO, Rank Math or Contact Form 7, among others) it shows a short hint explaining the overlap, right alongside the relevant feature toggle. Ultivo Toolkit never deactivates anything on its own; the hint is informational, and you can dismiss it permanently per plugin.

This works both ways: Ultivo Toolkit's own SEO output automatically stays out of the way whenever Yoast SEO, Rank Math or All in One SEO is active, so you never end up with duplicate meta tags or canonical URLs.

Running it again#

The wizard itself only runs on first activation, but every choice it asks about lives under Ultivo Toolkit → Settings afterwards. Features and modules can be switched on or off per site at any time, nothing requires re-running the wizard.
